Muscle Testing

What is “Muscle Testing”?

Muscle testing, is an actual science also known as Kinesiology.  It first received scientific attention in the second half of the last century through the work of Dr. George Goodheart, who pioneered the specialty he called Applied Kinesiology.

The implication is that our body/mind system knows what benefits us and what does not, and, that knowing can be measured by testing our own muscle or that of another person.  When the test gives a strong response, it indicates a good or correct result, and when the muscle tests weak, it is a true indication that the question posed has a negative response.

Many holistic practitioners, including homeopaths, neuropaths, nutritionists, chiropractors and the like, use muscle testing to get an accurate understanding of what the patient tolerates or needs corrections with. The truth of anything is held in the body/mind through one’s higher intelligence and can be accessed by testing the strength of one’s muscle; a very easy process.

For example, if the person being tested said the word love, he/she would be able to hold their arm straight and strong. If the person said the word hate, one could not, physically hold the arm and would receive a weakened response. What this means, in the practical world, is that good thoughts and feelings strengthen our physical body/emotional mind, (including immune system), and negative thought, feelings, foods, situations, weaken us.

We may consciously be aware of certain things that weaken us, just by our first response, but that may not always be the case.  Most often, the sub-conscious mind knows much more and that understanding may be more accurately measured through muscle testing.

It is also possible to connect with someone on a psychic level by using this method.

I use muscle testing when clearing negative energy to measure the attachments and once cleared, confirm that they have been cleared.

It is a wonderful tool that one can learn, and, with practice, can tap into our own innate inner resources to enhance our own awareness.
